Good for the price. Can be tricky to position the top part and fasten the clips. I had to bend the clips a bit to make them more secure - clever squirrels!

Alan In addition to keeping squirrels at bay, the cage also facilitates access to the feeder by dunnocks that can easily enter the cage and then walk across the base to access the food. This mode is more similar to their usual way of feeding than simply perching on the feeder.

I hoped the squirrel proof feeder cage would allow me to fit in the metal mesh feeding tray I have (which you sell in your catalogue with chain suspension) , as the measurements seemed compatible. But it doesn't, so I'm looking for a place where I can buy a metal mesh disc that has a rim and protective edging (to protect birds claws) - the right size to slip inside. It would allow rain to drain through, be easy to clean and most importantly, protect table feeders (tits, robins etc) from squirrels and pigeons scavenging their food. Any chance you could manufacture and sell such a tray?
