Butterfly Food with Vitamins
This Butterfly Food is laboratory formulated with a blend of sugars with essential vitamins. Suitable for wild butterflies, moths and captive-bred butterflies. Easy to mix in small quantities. Provides a valuable food source for butterflies vital when natural nectar sources are scarce. An example of this would be in early spring or late summer when fewer flowers are blooming.
Feeding
Prepare your butterfly food by mixing it with water as directed. Use sponge feeders or place the solution in a small pot or shallow dish. The food is formulated to ensure the sugars do NOT crystallise in the insect's stomach, which can be a risk with simple sugar solutions. Feeders should be cleaned and replenished daily or at least twice a week.
Mixing
Mix one rounded teaspoon of food with 100ml water.
Storage
Store mixed solution for up to 7 days in a refrigerator. Store open (unmixed) products in dry conditions for up to 6 months.
