Constructed from a mix of concrete and sawdust from sustainably sourced wood, WoodStone® nest boxes, from CJ Wildlife, safeguard against attacks from predators including woodpeckers, cats and squirrels.
The combination material insulates the nest which creates a more consistent internal temperature than an ordinary wooden box. This is especially important during the breeding season and ensures that young birds have a greater chance of survival.
Unlike a traditional wooden nest box, the breathable material reduces condensation so these boxes will not rot away or deteriorate.
Fixings are included, making the nests simple to hang under the eaves of your house or outbuildings.
