Essential Ordering Information

Below, you will find all the required details for tracking and changing your order, along with essential information relating to returns and damaged goods.

Returns & Refunds

Here at Really Wild Bird Food, we have a ‘no quibble’ returns policy. Although we hope that you will be happy with your purchases, if you wish to return goods to us, we will be happy to offer you an exchange or full refund. Under the Distance Selling Regulations for purchases by phone or online, you are entitled to a full refund if your request is made in writing, within 14 working days of receipt. This includes email, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to arrange a return. We kindly ask that all items are returned in the best possible condition, and are well packaged at your own cost. On receipt of the goods, we will process your refund/replacement promptly.

Changing Your Order

We understand that our customers will occasionally like to make changes to their order, which means that we will do our very best to accommodate these changes when the need arises. Simply contact us as soon as possible after placing your order, by calling 01489 896785, or dropping us an email at We are usually able to make changes up to 1pm on the day of dispatch, although after that time it becomes more problematic, unless is a simple addition to your order.

Tracking Your Order & Purchase History

Currently orders received Monday to Friday before 8am will be dispatched on the same day. Any orders after 8am will be dispatched on the next working day. For customers in more remote areas, this process may take a bit longer due to restrictions beyond our control. For full details of our delivery charges and timescales, click here.

Once your order is sent out for delivery, you should receive an email from our couriers (, confirming that your goods have been picked up and are on their way to you. Currently the email states that your goods should be delivery before 4pm, however, this may extend to 6pm in some cases. Details of how to track your order can also be found in your email, with an easy-access link to the site.

Missing, Incomplete or Damaged Goods

We aim to ensure that every order arrives undamaged and in perfect condition, however, we realise that we are unable to offer this as a complete guarantee in an imperfect world. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, incomplete or simply fails to arrive at all, please let us know as quickly as possible, so that we are able to offer a swift resolution. If the order has failed to arrive, we will make every effort to ensure that this is resolved in a timely manner. If your order arrives damaged, we will offer you our sincere apologies, and will be happy to replace the item for you.
