Very often our small garden birds are maurauded or frightened off by larger birds such as pigeons, rooks, magpies and crows. These ground feeder guardians will offer protection. The smaller birds will be able to hop through the mesh, leaving the bigger birds outside. Made from strong, powder coated metal; these ground guardians are long lasting, hard wearing and sturdy. They also feature 4 anchoring points which allows you to secure the guardian and stop it being blown away or towed away by a badger!

Easy to assemble. The sides simply slot together and food can be topped up by means of the lid on the top.

The guardians are available with two mesh size options;

Size 1 - Narrow Mesh -measuring 35mm x 70mm, keeps out larger birds (as below) and will also keep out most squirrels and mature starlings. *Please also note that juvenile starlings may be able to squeeze through this mesh, so we cannot guarantee its effectiveness against young starlings.

Size 2 - Wide Mesh -measuring approximately 60mm x 70mm, keeps out larger birds such as wood pigeons, collared doves, rooks, jackdaws and magpies. Will allow blackbirds and thrushes in.
