Hedgehog Crossing

Hedgehogs will travel around one mile every night through parks and gardens to find food and a mate. One of the most effective things we can do to help their survival, is facilitate their movement between gardens. Smaller gardens with secure fencing, create a significant natural barrier to the movement of hedgehogs.
We can all help! Creating holes in fences and walls will ease their movement, help them find a mate and raise a family.
It is easy to create DIY Hedgehog Highways. A 13cm x 13cm hole will be large enough for any hedgehog to pass through, whilst not big enough for most pets - guinea pigs would be an exception to that!
This hedgehog crossing tunnel will reinforce your garden fence after you have made the hole. This allows free passage of hedgehogs to neighbouring gardens or wildlife areas to feed and raise families, helping them avoid dangerous roads.
Made from second-life recycled plastic, this crossing fully protects hedgehog holes from weathering and keeps your fence stable and safe. Comes pre-drilled with 4 holes for fixing. Complete with instructions and guidance. The tunnel kit does not contain fixings as this will be specific to your fence type. The tunnel can be used singly on your side of the fence or can be paired up to provide stronger reinforcement.
Dimensions 6cm x 28.5cm x 31.5 cm. Weight 300g
