Can't believe how much the sparrows love these mealworms. The birds seem to wait for me to put them out. JUST HAVE TO BUY MORE.

Good service with a quality item. I purchased waxworms as well as the mealworm as bird food for myself and a friend. Whilst the waxworms are happy to just mosey about, the mealworm seem to be intelligent, ninja, puzzle solving insects which seem to escape whatever feeder I've put them in. Cannot climb smooth surfaces, mine can. Polycarbonate, plastic and glass. I'm having more fun thinking of ways to keep them in, fortunately the birds are getting them before they get too far. Would I reccomend the product, yes. Are they more intelligent than me, to be seen.

Ordering these for the third year - began with 500g and now 1KG - a lot of worms for the money [and not hard to look after]. Feeder attached to window has almost continuous stream of blue tits, great tits, robin and blackbird in the nesting season...

These are much cheaper than buying them in individual tubs from pet stores. My garden birds won't touch dried meal worms now. I divide them into smaller plastic tubs with air holes that I have collected when I have bought smaller quantities from reptile shops. I add bran (bought form pet shop) and few pieces of egg box, the meal worms like to crawl around and shelter in these. Every week or so I add small pieces of raw potato or carrot for them to eat. I can then keep them in my shed for up to about 3 weeks depending on time of year and the speed the birds are eating them. In spring when they are feeding young they obviously go much quicker. Prompt delivery as stated on site.
