Stop squirrels raiding your seed

Product Details

This small globe seed feeder from the market leader, CJ Wildlife ,  is an attractive, well made squirrel resistant feeder with a curved metal handle. It is lightweight, but made from strong, powder-coated metal and has an easy to open flip lid that makes refilling easy.

The sizeable gap between cage and central 2 port seed feeder will prevent most* squirrels successfully eating your bird seed mixes or sunflower hearts

* Please note that young squirrels may be able to squeeze through the mesh sufficiently to access the seed or sunflower hearts

I’ve stopped putting this feeder out, bits of seed collect in the tray at the bottom of the cage which is very difficult to clean because it’s underneath the cage and bits get stuck. But the main problem is reassembling it after cleaning, it’s not possible to reattach the perches before putting the feeder back in the cage you have to put them through the cage which is incredibly fiddly. It might be easier with two people, someone to hold one perch while the other person holds the other perch and screws them together but two people to clean a bird feeder seems excessive.

This item was well packed and arrived within two days of ordering. I am very pleased with my order and will be ordering again from Really Wild Birdfood. I must add I was very impressed with the booklet which was included in my parcel and reckon I could probably spend a fortune on the items advertised but will of course just find it difficult to decide which items I want to buy. Well done.
