Just like our premium seed mixes, these more affordable mixes are packed with home-grown ingredients from our UK farm, so even with the lower price tag, the quality will be significantly better than all the cheap bird food mixes you'll find online and in garden centres.

Product Details

Birdie Basics™ Gold is a delicious blend of 7 nutritious, home-grown ingredients that garden birds will devour! Contains: red millet, white millet, black sunflower seeds, rape, cut maize, naked oats, barley.

Unlike the Bronze and Silver options, Birdie Basics Gold™ is a wheat-free seed mix, with the highest quality ingredients. This product contains more black sunflower seeds and oil seeds than our Birdie Basics™ Bronze and Silver seed mixes, and if you prefer less wheat (or no wheat at all!) then this mix fits the bill.

We never include cheap fillers or foreign seeds like split peas and red dari in our seed mixes. We don't change the ingredients based on varying market prices, and the seed is grown, harvested, mixed and cleaned (not just once, but TWICE) by us to offer you a quality, dust-free alternative. And with free delivery on ALL our seed mixes, straights and peanuts, what's not to love?

How to Store Your BIRDIE BASICS™ Bird Food

All our seed mixes and straights should be stored somewhere cool and dry. We recommend using it up within 5 months of purchase, just to make sure it stays fresh and nutritious for your garden birds.
