Product Details

Buckwheat is a great feed option for all manner of birds, particularly parrots, parakeets, pigeons, and pheasants. Buckwheat is a nutritionally dense bird seed, high in fibre and antioxidants. It is also rich in a medley of essential minerals that helps protect against disease and promote a healthy heart, blood flow, and growth.

Buckwheat is a triangular shaped fruit of the plant Fagopyrum esculentum, which is related to rhubarb! It has a nutty flavour and is very high in all 8 essential amino acids.

Buckwheat for Birds Storage

Your buckwheat bird seed should be stored somewhere cool and dry. We recommend that it should be used within 5 months of purchase - just to make sure it stays fresh and nutritious for your garden birds.
