I often look at other suppliers as it is possible to buy Niger Seed at a lower price. I am put off saving a few pounds though by the reviews of other sellers which so often complain of stalks and other extraneous "contamination" which blocks the feeder. I've never had an issue with this seller - great service and clean seed!

No matter which bird food I order, it all goes. Through targeting small birds, I have reduced Pigeons to 2 or 3, that feed on the seed that falls on the ground. N B Due to current circumstances, services not up to its excellent standard.

I have bought from another company in the past at a similar price the birds seem to enjoy your mix just as much. My previous supplier does not appear to sell direct anymore hence the reason for change. But we are very happy with the product and the service. I don't understand Niger seeds. I put them out for the half dozen goldfinches that visit most days. I cannot work out if they actually eat the seeds, as my observation is that most seems to be littered around as debris? No reflection on the quality, I just don't understand them. I do keep the niger seed dry and clean and if it is wet I bring it in overnight to dry. I have never seen any other species even try the niger seeds.
