Product Details

These Super Suet Fatballs contain 50% more fat than traditional fat balls and will provide your garden birds with immediate calories in a fat ball with a great taste and texture.

The boxes of 50 contain delicious beef suet, wheat, peanut flour and dried mealworms and waterfly.

The trial packs of 6 are slightly different with the addition of some seed, they contain Beef suet, wheat flour, Peanut, Millet Seed, Rape Seed, Linseed and dried Mealworms.

The high % of fat  means they are softer than inferior quality fatballs (which are predominately seed bound together with fat). This makes them kinder and easier to peck into during the cold winter months. Soft-billed garden birds and fledgelings (in particular), will find these super suet fat balls easy to consume. Customers who have bought these have reported how much they are loved by many different species! These fat balls won't crumble and disintegrate in extremely cold weather conditions, but may soften during warm summer months.

Each fat ball weighs 90g.

What can I say! The fatness of my starlings and woodpeckers bears testimony to these fat balls. The smaller birds love them too although they find it hard to get a look in. Have to use squirrel proof feeders as they adore them too as does the magpies. All the birds adore these all year round.

The birds are mad for these fat balls!! And my dogs would be too if they had the chance. I fill up the holder and they're gone by the end of the day, especially with the young starlings that visit my garden. I do have to keep an eye on the feeder though as two have become trapped and needed my assistance to free them, both happy endings I'm pleased to say. Always first class service. I don't purchase my bird food from anywhere else and I know my feathered friends wouldn't be pleased if I did!!!
