Live Mini Mealworms are a fantastic high protein snack loved by all manner of wild birds.

Our high-quality mini mealworms are young mealworms about 13 to 18mm long and (as with the other mealworm species we supply) their diet is vegetarian. This means that they are safe to feed to birds as they cannot pass on diseases which may be found in larvae fed on meat, like maggots.

Our mini mealworms for birds are particularly moist and are therefore great to feed to fledglings who are unable to drink water by themselves.
