With 10 different ingredients, helping to attract the widest range of seed loving birds to your garden, our Original Farm Mix™ is unbeatable in terms of quality and value for money, and over 75% of the ingredients have been grown at home on our Hampshire farm, and the remaining seeds have been grown locally. So a great choice if you want birdfood with the lowest carbon footprint. Distance travelled? -only tractor miles - so a really good eco choice!
The Original Farm Mix™ is free flowing and is suitable for seed feeder, table or ground use. We double clean all our seeds and seed mixes here on the farm so we can produce the cleanest, highest quality bird seed available.
Ingredients include black sunflower seeds, millet, plain canary seed, oilseed rape, naked oats, wheat, cut maize, peanut granules and safflower.

Your Original Farm Mix should be stored somewhere cool and dry. We recommend that it be used within 5 months of purchase - just to make sure it stays fresh and nutritious for your garden birds
A note to our customers about the transition from 20kg sacks to 15kg sacks. We have made a decision, which will become effective from 1st November 2021, to use DPD as our courier partner. We feel that DPD will offer our customers a better service and delivery experience, with one hour scheduled time slots and advanced tracking systems. However, for this to happen, we need to box all our goods; DPD will not deliver unboxed goods. We feel that a 20kg sack in a large box is not easily manageable for our customers, so we have made the decision to drop to 15kg, which, a box, is more easily lifted and handled. Sadly, we have to factor in the additional cost of the box, but we are hoping that this will be balanced out by the much better service that DPD will be able to give us all. We will continue to monitor costs and of course, endeavour to reduced them whenever prices start to come back down again. Thank you for your understanding. Kind regards. Lesley
Please note - if you would like to buy bigger quantities of our products ( this can be any of our seed mixes, straights or peanuts etc) and continue to buy in 20kg sacks, we will be able to offer quarter, half and full pallets of 20kg sacks. These will equate to 300kg ( 15 sacks ), 600kg ( 30 sacks) or 1 tonne (50 sacks) please call us for a quote on 01489 896785 or email us stating how much you would like to buy and also your delivery post code. Previous purchases of original farm mix were in 20kg bags for which the cost varied between £55.85 and £60.00 for three. With bag sizes have now reduced to 15kg, we are expected to pay over £78 for the same weight. Simple maths tell me I'm going to pay approx £23 more for the same weight. I now have to go through the laborious task of evaluating whether it is cheaper to buy from an alternative supplier.
Brilliant bird food. The number of birds visiting my garden has gone through the roof since I started using this mix. Good quality. Good price and free postage. Fantastic
